Thin Lining Question

My friend just had to frozen blasts transferred on Saturday. Everything looks good except her lining which was thin. Does anyone have any advice on things she can do now to improve the lining in the 2ww? Any other advice? TIA

Re: Thin Lining Question

I would think that the doctor would consider HRT if the lining is too thin.

What is HRT?

I am 7 months pregnant with IVF baby, but I never had lining issues so I am not sure what to suggest to her. The doctor kept postponing the transfer because of her lining but then eventually gave her the go ahead. I wonder whether they should have waited longer.

Oh, HRT is hormone replacement therapy, right? She does have PCOS. I am not sure if that is the problem with the lining. She is only 31 but this is her third frozen cycle. The previous two failed and the first fresh cycle was cancelled because she ended up hospitalized from overstimulation. I feel so bad for her.

Re: Thin Lining Question

Well, I don't think there's anything she can do at this point. Weren't they watching her lining before transfer? I hope they at least gave her progesterone. And maybe estrogen in some form. They say Bromelain, the pineapple core is good. But, she'd have to eat a lot of it.

Another thing, do you know where her lining started at and where it ended up. My RE told me if it grows at least 3mm then that is good. So, doesn't matter where you started.

But once you "O" the lining is the lining.
