other than gambling/staying at the casinos. Does anyone have any recommendations of things to do/sites to see? TIA!

Re: Things to do in Atlantic City...
Next week, we're staying a night at a relatively new/renovated hotel called the Chelsea. It's a non-gaming hotel. Will let you know how it is.
In AC itself, there's: - restaurants - the beach - outlet shopping
Or, you could leave AC and spend time on the rest of the Jersey Shore.

Re: Things to do in Atlantic City...
Thanks! We're staying at the Trop this coming weekend for 4 days & I'm so looking forward to it. I love to gamble, but I don't want that to be all that we do.
So far we've got show tixx, we're going to see an IMAX movie & we plan to hit the beach, but I think we need more I didn't know there were outlet stores...maybe we'll go check them out...thanks!

Re: Things to do in Atlantic City...
We just came back from a long weekend in AC...with our 2 year old.
The outlet shopping is awesome, its right by Ballys, lots of great restaurants, there is a great mall on the boardwalk by Caesers, there is a madame tussauds wax museum and the pier down by the Taj with rides, etc...

There is a great winery outside of AC, in Egg Harbor City. It is the second oldest continuously operating winery in the country, because it made sacramental wine during the prohibition. There are coupons on their website for a free tour and tasting. They do a great tasting, really explaining the wines to you, and giving you chocolate to pair with some of them. One of the best wine tours we have ever had. We went there on our way home from AC last time we were there.

Oh man...I'd LOVE to go here, but I think it would be torture since I can't drink right now I'm going to make a mental note to visit there after the baby is born. Thanks so much!
