Things to do with a two year old
Anybody have any recommendations on things to do with a two year old around Long Island? Besides going to the park, I feel like I never have anything to do to entertain her.

Things to do with a two year old
DS will be 2 next week. We frequent the Long Island Children's Museum & White Post Farms- love them both! We also like the Queens Zoo & the LI Aquarium in Riverhead. Haven't done the Bronx Zoo or the coney island aquarium yet, but we hope to do both this summer!

The Queens Zoo is great for that age... Also the Aquariums. LICM is also cute.. We did Wood Kingdom some days too. The local libraries have a lot of programs for that age...

I just flew a dollar store kite on my front lawn with my son.
sidewalk chalk art on the driveway
blowing bubbles
feed the ducks / geese at a local pond
give her a shovel and let her help you "garden"
buy a bunch of plastic balls and put them in the pack n play...ball pitt
aquarium
petting zoo
LICM
Cradle of Aviation junior jet club

Things to do with a two year old
And also long Island game farm. There are all the places that do "open play" indoors for cold or rainy days. gymboree, le play cafe, once upon a tree top, wood kingdom etc.
And you can set up play dates with other mamas too :o)
