Think Ian is ready for potty training??
I had a doctors appt last night so my mom picked up DS and put him to bed. But she tells me before he went to sleep he grabbed a tissue, looked down and wiped his butt! shes like...Ian, who taught you that, mommy? and he smiled and says mommy.  he was probably just repeating her.
so this is him showing an interest right? every time i have to go, i say...ian, mommy has to go potty. he yells potty and runs into the bathroom with me and finds it hilarious. he'll be 18 months next week. should i start putting him on? guess i have to get a toilet seat thingy for him

Yes, sounds like he's showing an interest. IMO its never too young to start.
