(1) Thinking we'll split the kids into 2 teams to do all the challenges. Should I do that ahead of time? Evenly? Regardless of the winning team I am pretty sure all the kids will get a prize.

(2) From the info and ideas I have read - many suggest keep the party moving - have as much done ahead of time (which I plan to). Would you say have 2 tables set up for each event? Have them do the task simultaneously?

(3) What would be a fair amount of tasks to do? Assuming most are "a minute" long, would you say 8-10 is too many?? Do we need to have another activity?? We will have pizza and cake.

I don't have any suggestions but this sounds like a good idea. Please keep us posted on all the details and how it comes out.Chat Icon

I would do as much ahead of time as possible. I would also plan on more events than you think necessary.

We did this for my DD's sleepover party. I had 10 games planned but we only got to 6 I think. Tons of fun, and I plan to do it as a class party theme in my 3rd graders class this year. Do as much as you cn ahead of time. I put everything needed for each game in separate gift bags and just grabbed the bag for each game.
