THird Row Seating in SUVS- Is there enough trunk space?

Going to look at the Acadia, Highlander and Traverse. I really need the bucket seats, but want to make sure the trunk has enough room for my stroller at least. Does anyone drive these ? Is there enough trunk space?

We have the highlander and as long as you keep the third row down...the space is good.

I think with the third row up you will have enough space for a stroller.

I have an Acadia. I usually keep the 3rd row down (unless I'm driving a big group), but I can fit my stroller in easily whether the 3rd row is up or down. I should mention that I have a Maclaren Techno, though, so it's not a bulky stroller.

For the Acadia/Traverse---I keep my 3rd row down most of the time, but when I have it up there is enough room for my stroller (pliko p3) but not my double (BOB) I looked at the Highlander as well and felt mine had more room with the 3rd row up.

i have the explorer and with the third row up i can put my stoller in - there is a well so it is deep

the explorer can have captain seats too

I have the CX9 and same as everyone- I keep the 3rd row down for the most part and its really roomy

I have the Buick enclave. Generally, the row row is down. However, when new baby arrives in march, I will have to use the 3 rd row for my oldest to have a seat ( we have 2nd row captains chairs and 3 kids). My 3 rd row is a 60-40 split fold, so my son has plenty of room and space in the 40% seat of the 3 rd row, so I will most likely keep the larger section of the 3rd row down to keep my stroller in there and have room for bags and groceries, etc. When I do need to use the whole 3 rd row, the single stroller fits on its side on the back -- but there isn't room for much else.

Just out of curiosity.....for those who have a 3 Row SUV....why didn't you get a minivan? We are in the process of upsizing to a family vehicle and the minivan has all the interior space we are looking for....B.U.T......it's a minivan. Just wondering why people don't get them if they are more space efficient and cost effective than the SUVs???

I honestly cant do it. EVery one of my friends have a minivan and I know they are the MOST practical-but my husband and I just cant seem to admit we are that old, married couple with 3 kids driving that minivan. ha ha ha

I have a Pilot because I wanted 4wd or AWD.

For us, we have a tahoe with the 3rd row. Most if the time its folded up & we actually only have the 2 seat section of the 3rd row.in the car to allow room for my double stroller.

I'm not a mini van mom. Just not for me. Ive owned suv since I started driving. I need the 4WD for our trips to my parents in Maine & the weekend house in the Poconos.

I have an acadia and the 3rd row is almost always up. I can fit my groceries in no problem. I used to have a sit and stand stroller and I fit that in there on its side. I don't have experience with any other strollers besides an umbrella stroller but I think there is a decent amount of room.
