Third time was not the charm
It was confirmed yesterday that our third and final IUI failed. I had tested and already knew it was negative but I was holding out hope that maybe, just maybe, the beta would show a late implanter. I couldn't really hold it together at all yesterday. 
Unfortunately this was our last covered IUI so it is kind of the end of the road, but more of a crossroads, for us. I really need a few months of rest from infertility. I had a lot of anxiety from the last cycle and I haven't experienced that in years.
So the summer is as good a time as any to recuperate. Then, we will see if we have the option of switching to DH's insurance for IVF.
I will keep popping on here and cheering you all on,  ing for lots of BFPs.

I'm very sorry that this cycle wasn't it for you. We took a TTC break last summer and it was great. I set out in the fall all refreshed and ready to go. Hopefully the IVF covergae will work out, too.

Thanks so much for the kind words, ladies.
It looks like we are extremely fortunate. My DH made some inquiries this morning and as he is employed by the state, his insurance is the Empire Plan which will cover everything up to a lifetime max of $50,000. It will take 3 months for the coverage to activate.
I just need to meet with my Dr. next week. I have a lot of questions before we commit to IVF.

I am so sorry the IUI didn't work, but thats good that you will be able to have coverage.....its pitiful that we have to base whether or not we can continue trying for a child based on money and insurance 
Take a nice break, summer is the perfect time.....get your head back in it and start fresh in the fall.

I am so sorry that this didn't work...but on the upside - the state coverage is amazing. If you use a "Center for Excellence" there aren't any co-pays and the $50K lasts forever. We have done 3 IVF cycles and over 12 FET's and I still have $20K left of coverage....
