This is really bad right? Cramping and spotting...someone?

Unfortunately my job doesnt give me much access to telephones... so Im not sure what to do...

yesterday I noticed a yellow discharge but didn't think anything of it...

Then today, i went to the bathroom after feeling cramping and its a brown mucus... very similar to the beginning of AF.

I'm 7 weeks.Conceived on the pill

Please, don't candy coat it...anyone know what this could possibly be? I am freaking out already...

Brown spotting usually isn't cause for concern since that's typically old blood.

Bleeding + cramping is generally not a good sign.

Can you call your ob/gyn?

Cramping and discharge is very common in the 1st trimester. Brown discharge is typically not a bad sign. Red blood is. I would call your OB and let them know what you are seeing/feeling and be guided by what they say. At this point, it's a wait and see type scenario, unfortunately. For me, I had bad cramping and staining thruout my entire 1st trimester with my first DD. It was very nerve wracking!! Hang in there!

I cant call till after I get out of work- 3:00. This is my "week of duty" so I am on lunch duty with the kids and no frees....

Plus my partner isout sick so i dont even havea chance....

its only brown. Not red...

I had horrible cramping for the first 11 weeks of pregnancy, I also had brown spotting. I am now 33 weeks pregnant.

Call your OB, but try not to freak out. Spotting can be completely normal.

cramping and brownish discharge is completely normal...if it becomes heavy bleeding and bad pain you may have to worry. I would call your OB since they will probably want to see you and maybe do a sono just to check everything.

Brown discharge is a sign of old blood in the uterus. I say if it turns to red blood head out immediatley. But I think you should also call your DR just to be sure.

Because ihave a major chance of miscarriage, I get very worried.ALthough the doc said it implanted well, its still a concern.

I'm having the same issue today. Just spoke w/ my dr and she didn't seem overly worried. I'm going in for a sono just to be sure. Call your dr as soon as u r able to...

I freaked out the first time it happened too! Try to hang it there 'till u talk to your dr!

Brown spotting is technically not something to be concerned over. If you are cramping and it is red blood, that is when there is a potential problem.

I would call the OB anyway just for reassurance.

Like everyone has said, brown discharge is usually not a sign of concern. Can you "go to the bathroom" and sneak in a cell phone call to your OB? I think it will make you feel better!

Or maybe can u text or email your Dh and ask him to call your dr in the meantime?

He cant carry a phone on his job...imagine that one? we're just ready for disasters

Call your OB. I can understand they don't want you calling people to make Friday night plans, but this is different. Just say you have a medical issue. They don't have a right to ask you what it is!
