i can't believe after all he did to surprise her...she said she wants to go on tour. like he doesn't do enough?? i get its her dream, but i just couldn't ask him to do one more thing. now im thinking she leaves for tour and thats when he dies

i think thats too extreme. i think hes just having a nervous breakdown with every thing going on around him.
but they showed his hands shaking 3 diff times in the preview. thats a lot, no?
could be stress. he's holding a lot in. im going with that lol i think adding parkinsons into the plot is too much
I agree, my first thought was Parkinson's but now I think it's a side effect of all the stress. I guess we'll see.

Did it strike a cord with anyone the story Miguel told about not feeling motivated to make his wife coffee one day and her not noticing???? I just loved that. I felt it's so true to life.

yes!! it is soo true!
yes! honestly for me, from all the episodes that was the one thing that seemed most "real" and true to life.
ETA:
I figured Randall's shaking was stress related as well but maybe it is more. Obviously he has been slacking off at work too based on what happened in the last episode.
Also-- is it just me or was his wife a little unfair demanding that he pick the chess tournament over his work obligation? And he just obliged without much if any protest? I need some Randall and Jack infused into my marriage!

Not sure I agree with this- although I find her really annoying and thought her timing was way off when she asked. But what if the rolls were reversed and he had to go away for work or to pursue his dreams. Would you feel the same about it being too much of him to ask her to do this?

I was reading the interview with the creator that they print every Wednesday, and he mentioned panic attacks (and maybe that Randall has a history with them), so it's got to be just that, I hope? Either way, he's clearly not coping well, and I just want to hug him...

I think Randall is having anxiety attacks and he will probably rush to the hospital thinking heart attack or something seriously wrong and it'll be anxiety from everything going on. Especially losing a second dad.
I wish he'd let his wife prepare the kids for losing their grandfather.
Kate is going to room #13 to tell that jerk where to go (this is what I'm hoping because I love Toby)
I love Sophie. I hope this continues !
Jack ... oh jack. Watching them makes me realize how much my DH really does for me. It's easy to lose track of the day to day stuff. And DH doesn't remind me that he did A, B or C. He just does. I need to be more aware of it and appreciate him more.
And wrong timing on Rebecca's part with that tour. I agree, maybe he dies while she's on tour.
I kinda can't wait to find out how she wound up marrying his BFF. Like ... I couldn't imagine marrying my DHs BFF. He's like a brother to me. It's weird.
Have I mentioned how much I love this show?!!!!

This got me so mad too!!! Jack is perfect and wayyyy too good for her! Doesn't she see how lucky she is? What more could she possibly want from a husband??? I am taking this way too seriously, lol!

Earlier in the season they alluded to Randall having some issues. They may be resurfacing.

But I think they are making him too perfect. And it's unfair to her
I mean look she basically has been with triplets alone for 9 years (I know he is working so not saying he has it easy)
But something pops up for her and we all hate her for it
I also read the writers said we have seen the best sides of Jack and the not so great of Rebecca and soon we will see roles reversed and I'm actually happy about it

what did Randall say to Kevin at the end of the call? "Bye Beth?" I love how Kevin finally did an upselfish thing. Miguel gave him great advice.
Poor Jack but he did overreact and now he's drinking again.
I thought Kate was going to tell us how Jack died!!

I DVR'd it and played it back 3 times and still could not figure out what he said.
Great episode.
I wonder if alcohol played a role in Jacks death? Either drunk driving or an alcohol related illness.
