Boy Refuses Blood Transfusion
i am sad that this boy lost his fight with leukemia, but glad that he was able to make his own choices and hold on to his religious beliefs.

well i know it has a lot to do with how he was raised, but as long as his parents didn't force this choice on him, i don't have a problem with it.
we ALL feel differently about stuff like this, depending on how we were raised - that doesn't make our beliefs "right" or "wrong." i wonder how long he had been thinking about this, poor kid.

poor kid, I think that is such a sad situation but freedom of religion is one of the many freedoms that make america a great place to live....I hope he can rest in peace

Poor child.
I'd like to know more about his living situation... It says his parents did not have custody of him.
At least he is at peace now.
