This may sound weird.....

But as I sit here watching my 3 week old dd sleep I turned to my dh and told him that I am so glad that we went through all of the IF problems. Of course it was hell while it was happening but if in those 3 years any other attempt was successful I wouldn't have THIS baby. Sounds weird! Also if none of this ever happened I wouldn't have learned so much and hopefully helped/will help other ladies dealing with IF. I wouldn't have met some awesome ladies from this site either
I would of course never wish the heartache of IF on anyone but I always used to say that I truly believed everything happens for a reason but I couldn't figure out what the reason was that god would load this all on me and put us through so much when we were so deserving of a child, for me our DD is the reason, she is THE CHILD we were destined to love making the journey worth it
Of course I wasn't saying that when it was all happening!

Aw, thanks for sharing that. I have a feeling I will feel the same way once our LO is born.

i couldn't agree more. i feel EXACTLY the same way. for all of the heartache while you are going through it, for some reason when you sit there and look at your baby, it all suddenly makes perfect sense.

I couldn't have said it better. I said something similar to DH a few weeks ago as our twin boys were sleeping and we were laying on the couch. I said IF is hell but I wouldn't change a thing because this is how it was supposed to be for us. This is how our boys were meant to be ours. I'm getting teary eyed just writing this.

Doesn't sound weird at all. I was meant to have THAT BABY and I knew it the minute I held her. All the pain of IF lessened and it was all worth while.

I think and say the same thing all the time. Its a hard road going through IF treatments month after month not knowing if your ever going to have a happy ending but once your baby is born all you can think is how worth it going through all the ups and downs to have the happy beautiful ending. I look at my dd everyday and think to myself you are my miracle because when doctors said I couldn't get pregnant I held onto hope. I wouldn't trade my IF journey for anything because without IF I wouldn't have the dd that was meant for me to have.

i feel the same way...although i have not met my twins yet- but i feel like they were meant to be with me and that i am blessed beyond belief.

i doubt i ever would have had twins without IVF....

i feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have not one, but two little angels in my belly

also my family is over the flipping moon...and im so happy to see everyone so excited

my twins are loved so much already....

i want to throw my arms around my RE and kisss him.
