I would have screamed!
ditto and i would've slammed the door and called DH! i hate mice, raccoons, possums...even gerbils and hamsters creep me out!

I hate them. One tried to attack my dog and then got stuck under our bench. When DH when to move it, it died.

We see them in our backyard sometimes, they will go under the deck. We'll only know they are there because the motion sensor light will go on. So we know its either that or a kitty.
I agree with a previous poster, I think they're kinda cute too, except for the tail.

my dog cornered one in the backyard the other night, they are nasty little creatures. I don't like having them around because they could kill my chickens or my rabbit.
several times we let our dog out in the yard at night sometimes, go check on her and see that she has one in her mouth shaking it around like a toy. the first time we saw it we freaked out.... but DH watched after we had gotten the dog away from it and inside the house....about 5 min later the opossum got up looked around and walked away lol... he was playing opossum the whole time

ew, I hate them. I mean I love all animals, but these things.....ugh.
We have a family of them living in our shed. I am trying to find a humane way to trap them. The little ones are still so small, I am afraid to traumatize them if they are away from the big ones

i think they're cute!
they live outside so where else would we expect to find them but outdoors? they have a right to live like any other creature. i wouldn't go near one, but i wouldn't try to get rid of it unless it did something

They're all around my ILs neighborhood with tall trees and woody/shrub filled areas.
They're ugly little things with a viciousnss to them if they are cornered.
