This peeing in the mid of night and early morning thing...

is really effing up my sleeping.

For the last week ive either woken up around 2am or 7am or BOTH (hence why im online now when im OFF today ansd could be sleeping) and it becomes IMPOSSIBLE for me to fall back to sleep.

When i woke up this AM at 2, i wound up falling back to sleep prob 45 mions later.

Just wait, as you get bigger and further along it gets worse. I go about 3-4 times a night.

i know. but guess what...the peeing gets replaced by a baby crying for food!

I am up at least 2x a night

try to cut back on your drinking water to 7pm the latest.

Is this supposed to happen in early pregnancy too?

I've been getting up to pee at LEAST once, most nights twice a night since week 4 ..........and I'm only at week 12 !!

I drink a lot of water-- even keep a glass that I sip throughout the night next to my bed.

Even with that, some nights I am up, some I am not.. But, the insomnia thing is prevalent in pregnancy-- especially for me in early pregnancy with the anxiety factor.

Isn't it great?? Once I wake up to pee, it also takes me a LOONG time to fall back to sleep......I'm like a zombie at work most of the time......

The tale is it's your bodies way of getting you ready for getting up at night for the baby I literally get up like clockwork every night at 2 and then at like 430 to go to pee..hoping she'll be up then too so I'm used to it already

I pee about 4 times a night......I miss sleeping throught the night

Yup.. That was fun last night. Between the thunder and peeing.. I didn't get much sleep. But, I am off today so after dh left for work I got to sleep until 9:15

I know how you feel! Been there!
It only gets worse as you get bigger and baby pushes on your bladder.

Pregnancy defintely prepares you for mommyhood becuase once you're a mommy, the baby will wake u up a few times during the night to eat!

Then the best part is, you don't have to pee once the baby goes back to sleep!

My DH swore I was a restroomalohlic cause wherever I went, you bet I was in the bathroom. I pee'd all the freaking time!!!

i found that it got a little better the peeing...seem to be peeing less at night now at four months...enjoying it while i can cause i know it is going to get bad again

I am up 3-4 times per night to pee. Think of it like this- It is just getting you ready for all those times you are going to have to get up with the baby! It's practice! :)

I have consistently been waking up 2-3 times a night since I was 7 weeks, so I feel your pain!

I don't know if I am a super heavy sleeper or what, but I am 28 weeks and have only gotten up at night a few times throughout my PG. I do wake up everyday at 6 on the dot having to pee like a crazy woman.

I bet this will change as I get further into the 3rd trimester and the baby really squeezes out my bladder

Yup isn't it fun, I'm up a few times a night too and noticed it getting more frequent over the past couple of weeks, I'll be 32 weeks. It's really tough going back to sleep especially because seems to be so active once I empty my bladder so it's tough getting back to sleep with him dancing around in my belly. I definitely feel/look like a zomby at work

It is just preparing you for the sleepless nights once the baby is born.

I haven't had an uninterrupted night of sleep since very early on in my pregnancy. I'm usually up for several hours in the middle of the night.

And just wait until you are about 35+ weeks when actually getting OUT of the bed is an act of congress, and then when you finally stand up to go to the bathroom you feel like you are gonna pee yourself because the baby is pressing down on your bladder!!

yep.. it only gets worse.. ive mastered it so my eyes barely open and i walk right back into bed to sleep..now the hunger at 4am is a whole different story

I have not been able to sleep through the night for months. At 27 weeks I get up about 4 times a night. I really think it is our bodies preparing us for sleepless nights with our babies! All worth it!
