This story is just so sick. I just don't understand it. A child she knew...her daughters best friend. Not saying if the child was a stranger that it would make it OK, but having a friendship/connection with this child and being able to do something like this. I just can't wrap my head around it.
May she rest in peace.

These stories sickened me before I had children,but now that I have a son I can't help but think what I would do if anyone ever hurt him. It makes me feel ill...I cannot fathom the cruelty and sickness in our world It will never make sense to me.

I also wonder why she did it...
I am willing to bet it had something to do with her daughters relationship and the little girl. Maybe a "no one hurts my daughter" mentality. Maybe the girls got into a fight and the mother personalized it... I dont know i am pulling at straws. Remember that case a few yrs back at the sports event where the father became riled at the game and I "think" killed the other father or kid...I dont recall all details. Some parents cant control themselves. Like I said we can only assume things until more facts are present.... Regardless....shes a maniac!!!!

Seriously. Who does this to a child? HOW are people capable of hurting a child in this way?????? It's so beyond disgusting.
Yesterday on GMA, they had a psychologist saying that he would be VERY surprised if she really did this - it doesn't fit any of the profiles and she didn't seem to have a history of anything that would point to this at all. He said she may have been compelled to admit she was guilty after lots of interrogation or she may have been guilty of assisting someone who did this to the little girl.
I say you never really know anyone and what's in their mind and what they're capable of... I hope that whether it was her or someone else, that the guilty person ROTS IN FREAKIN HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Beyond disgusting. If this woman is found guilty, she's going to be notorious because there are no other women known to have done something like this to a child not their own - AND they believe there might be other victims.
