I was scrolling on FB and some hair stylist I follow posted it.

LOL yeah I am not sure what bridge that actually is, but the Brooklyn Bridge is pretty iconic looking and very recognizable so I was like- I'm not sure what bridge that is, but it damn sure ain't the Brooklyn Bridge!

LOL yeah I am not sure what bridge that actually is, but the Brooklyn Bridge is pretty iconic looking and very recognizable so I was like- I'm not sure what bridge that is, but it damn sure ain't the Brooklyn Bridge!
Now if it’s Queens bridge or Triboro then the caption would not make any sense at all. Lol.
Eta: I still can’t tell the difference. Manhattan bridge and Brooklyn look the same to me.

But come on, I don't live in San Fran and I know what the Golden Gate Bridge looks like.
The Brooklyn Bridge is recongizable all over the world.
It's a very distinct look.
That looks NOTHING like this one.

That's the Manhattan Bridge with the globes on top. It is a few blocks from the Brooklyn Bridge, so maybe she was still feeling it's "vibes."

I was born and raised in Queens and couldn’t tell you from a pic what bridge I was looking at whether it’s Manhattan, Brooklyn or Wiliamburg. I never notice the distinction between the bridges. I can tell if I am looking at the Golden Gate, GW and maybe Verazzano. So I give them a pass for not knowing. Granted because my lack of knowledge I wouldn’t caption pics unless I was 100% sure.
And ironically for years I have a pic hanging on my wall of the Brooklyn Bridge from 1928. lol.

Yes the Brooklyn Bridge is distinct for that reason and it has that Gothic shape to the arches.
All the others that are steel look the same to me though

Yup. This is the Manhattan Bridge. Williamsburg Bridge is silver, Manhattan Bridge is blue and the Brooklyn Bridge is brown.

HA! It's the Manhattan Bridge.
I can understand not knowing it's the Manhattan or Williamsburg bridges.. they're similar enough, the same color, right next to each other.. but the Brooklyn Bridge is so COMPLETELY different.
