Re: Those of you that had your wisdom teeth pulled...
Mine were impacted - 2 were sideways.
I wasn't getting PAIN, per se, but it was speculated that the top 2 were causing headaches. Once I had them pulled (January 12th!), the headaches disappeared.
eta: I had no issues with the surgery. My Dr. was fabulous.

Re: Those of you that had your wisdom teeth pulled...
My mom made me have them ALL done at once when I was a senior in HS so I wouldnt have a problem in the future. And the bestwas she scheduled it during my spring break (senior year) So while all my friends went to daytona I was home looking like a chipmunk. BUT.. I did lose 15 lbs for my prom dress

Re: Those of you that had your wisdom teeth pulled...
My bottom two wisdom teeth were impacted. The top two grew in normally, but since I didn't have my bottom two, the top ones eventually grew down to my bottom gums. The top ones were pulled at that point.

Re: Those of you that had your wisdom teeth pulled...
The impacted tooth was putting pressure on my other teath and and wound up breaking one of them. When I went to the dentist, he said it was better to remove all of them in one shot.
It was not as easy as they want you to beleive. The older you get, the harder it is to recover.

Re: Those of you that had your wisdom teeth pulled...
Thanks everyone...I know that all four of mine are impacted but they don't bother me at all. In fact one seems to have come in fine but I guess to prevent future problems I should face the music and get them out.

Re: Those of you that had your wisdom teeth pulled...
I had 2 top ones removed. All 4 impacted. I was in so much pain afterwards. The other 2 can stay in there until the rot. I am not going back.
