I will never ever ever ever ( x infinity) go back to a regular car. I currently have the Ford Escape and I know other ladies on here have it too. I drive 40 miles a day and get gas once a week.

I do not think I can ever go back to a car. I was always a SUV girl. I love my SUV and will never trade it in for a car.

I always had convertibles and said I would never not have one.
Then I got a regular car. Now I have the Jeep Liberty. I don't think I will ever go back to driving a regular car.
You should check out the Liberty - it's a really nice SUV - not to big - not too small and drives nicely.
I am already thinking about what I will get next year when my lease is up.

I think that I would but I'd probably get another SUV first. I'd love a mustang but with the number of SUV's on the road, I'd rather be in the majority if it means safety. Either wya, there are good suv's that are affordable AND get decent gas milage!

I have a regular car right now, but I use DH's SUV all the time and I love it so much. I try to run all my errands before he leaves for work just so I can use his car   . I feel so much safer in it, especially with DS in the car. I'm looking into getting an SUV for myself right now.

Yes...I think I would and maybe in the future we will after our kids are grown a bit and can control the urge to kick the back of the seat!!
We went from a Camry to a Chevy Tahoe....we get about 19 mpg and lucky for me I don't drive far to work. A tank lasts me over a week!
DH drives my beat up Saturn and gets over 30 mpg and it has no payments, so we keep driving it!

I just went to an SUV (GMC Envoy) last December and will not go back to a car. Main reason is my 2 kids and all the stuff I need to have with me. My DH is a car/SUV dealer, so let me know if he can help you out in any way.

i have the a-4 quattro. i did not go from an suv to a car, but my car drives like one- all wheel drive and plows through snow. its a car you should consider

I went from a car to an SUV and allthough I cant say never, I highly doubt I would get a car again. When my infiniti was in the shop 3 weeks ago getting brakes done they gave me a rental car and I HATED it, so low to the ground, didnt feel safe, that I went back and made them give me another SUV.

I had a volvo for years and loved it until I got my CRV - I LOVE it - it does pretty good with gas much better than other SUV's. My DH loved mine so much he bought one this past Nov.
No I can't see going back to a car - to me the height makes it safer as I can now see much better for turns etc. The CRV's are in the Top three safest SUV's on the road which also is nice to have.
I think the top two for safety are the CRV and the RAV4

We've been talking about that- my DH went from car to truck back to car... I have a truck now and he thinks we should get cheaper cars... but I don't want to go back to a car from a truck!!!

Ever since I got my first SUV (four years ago) I couldn't go back to a car. I feel really safe in a truck. If I had to I would go back to a car... but it would take some getting used to!
If you're looking for a new SUV, check out the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I just got it 3 months ago and LOOOOOVE it!!!! I had the jeep liberty for 3 1/2 yrs on a lease and just gave it back and got the Jeep Cherokee... I honestly think i'll have Jeep's forever!

Actually, I was just taking about this yesterday , I have a Chevy Trailblazer and I love driving a truck but with the gas $$$ I am thinking of trading it in for a car $60 a week is alot and that is route driving if I want to go out and see people its like $60 x2
Which cars do I like Nissan Altima , Chrysler 3000 and I saw a couple of nice ones out there of course a 4 door

I would always at least have a truck or jeep between the two of us. Even if it were a clunker. I love taking it on the beach.
I have to admit I miss my Celica to this day, and with the price of gas I don't know that I would buy another SUV - I would probably go hybrid.

Yes..
I had a VW bug and then bought a Chevy Equinonx, which I love and have now. I am going to be selling it because I just got a job which provides me with a car of my own. But if I ever have to buy a vehicle again it will be a car, like a Mazda 6. THe gas is a major factor in it, but I just like a car better.
