I'm having a scheduled c/sec on Friday.

My in-laws are going to spend the night on Thursday and bring DD to daycare during the day on Friday. They'll pick her up and bring her home.

Sat. I've hired a babysitter to come in the afternoon (one of DD's teachers) so the family can come to the hospital. DD will come in the morning, but go home for lunch and stay home for the day.

So far, that's plan A. Every time I make plans, God laughs at me and it never works out that way... so, I'm playing it by ear. If my water breaks on Wed. and I don't make it to the scheduled c/sec... LORD only knows what we're going to do???

My dad watched her in the early AM because I went into labor at like 3 am. My BIL and his wife relieved my dad, so he could head over the to the hospital.

My MIL got to our house and we left immediately after for the hospital. It was 4am. My mom hadn't yet made it to LI from upstate either, so we had no family at the hospital when baby was born (not that it would have mattered, I gave birth 20 minutes after arriving).

Both moms brought my older daughter with them and they all met baby at the same time.

My mom, she came up there with DD after DD was born.

I had a repeat c section.
Inlaws, my dad, my sister all came to the hospital with DS.

I had a sort of emergency c/s at 9pm. I was in the hospital already admitted and DS was home with my mom, stepfather and sister. My stepfather and brother stayed home and my parents and IL's came o the hospital.
