If the cord is within reach - how do you cover it/protect DC from it?

we taped ours up along the side and top of the A/C

Thank you! Our outlet is way below the window like, almost at floor level...did you tape the cord to the wall up to the outlet?

Can you block it with a low peice of furniture, something to obstruct the view or will he figure that out?
