those that have their insurance cover their formula...
Do any of you get it through CVS/pharmacy or just a home delivery service?

My insurance covers similac alimentum. Basically it seems like if you're child needs a special formula, that's when it's covered.
I'm just curious if anyone uses a pharmacy or cvs. I'm having a tough time with getting it through cvs (they have so many restrictions) so i'm wondering what everyone else does.

Mail order service. Your insurance company should give you a list of places that are close to you, and you can pick one. It is definitely very convenient to have it delivered right to your house.

did you have any restrictions? like you had to pick either the liquid or the powder (that you couldn't do both)?

I used Apria as well. They are very easy to deal with. They ship it right to your house, no delivery charge.
I bumped the post for you...its titled Nutramigen...the info is in the middle of the post.

Neocate only comes in powder so I didn't have a choice.
Oh, and my specific plan with UHC doesn't cover Alimentum or Nutramigen since they are available OTC.

I also have UHC and they kept giving me the run around. I couldn't get an answer from anyine there for like 2 weeks. Thats when I called Apria and they dealt with UHC and covered the Alimentum 100%. I didn't have to do anything and it was delivered to my house.
