Those w/ babies under 6 months..Halloween
Are you actually going trick or treating w/ your child this year?
Are you dressing your child up?
Just curious....DD w/b 3 months & DH is like, "you're not actually thinking of taking her trick or treating are you?"

I am.
BUT I am taking him to my parent's apartment building in Manhattan, so he won't be outside. My dad LOVES Halloween and he is going to have a friggen ball with a grandson.

Well, DD was 4 1/2 months old last Halloweenh and we did dress her up and take her to about 10 houses...neighbors and family that we are close with...and took a ton of pics!

last halloween DS was 3 months - he wore a blue m&m oneis. I went out with my sister and nephew trick or treating. DS did not trick or treat

We're not taking DS trick or treating but we will be dressing him up. He'll have a costume to wear to daycare and another halloween outfit to wear later that day.
ETA: DS will be 4 mos old at Halloween.

She is dressing up and I'm taking her and DS TOTing. Probably at the mall this year though since we don't know anyone in this neighborhood.

I'm not going trick or treating with her but I do plan on dressing her up to answer the door and just to take pictures. We may participate in the local parks and rec doggie day out 'howloween'. We dressed up the pooches for a costume contest and bonehunt (they throw a ton of treats all around a park.) I would put DD in costume in her stroller for that day too.

Last year DD was almost 3 months old on Halloween. We didn't trick or treat but we did dress her up and take pictures!
This year we will have a 3 or 4 week old baby and since I am taking DD1 TOTing for the first time my 1 month old will go too. But it won't be more than a few houses.

We have a costume and I siad to DH "It's not like he's going trick or treating!" He said "Uh, yeah, I want some candy!" So, we'll see.....nothing crazy.....maybe by his mom's work.

I dont have work that day so I'll take DD to my parents so they can see her chicken costume. Then it's back home and DH and I will take her to some of our friend's apartments in our building.

We are going to a couple of parties before Halloween. On the actual day we'll go in to DH's office and maybe around the neighborhood/IL's neighborhood.

last year dd was only 2 mths old. i went around with her and my young cousin. he went and got candy for her. We dressed her up as a pumpkin.
This year we are definitely bringing them both around!

we have a 6 year old so yeah. besides, when else can i squeeze him intoa little bear suit and not hear it from DH about how lame he looks? (he is our little baby bear after all)
now to find a little bear costume...
