Those who had in ground pools put in
How much did the pool cost you if you had one put in.
If you do not wanna post please FM me.
We are looking into doing a big one maybe a small kidney shaped pool or small rectangle or oval.
Not that we are doing it anytime soon but we just wanna get an idea of price
TIA

The previous owner had our put in 3yr ago. It is kidney shape, vinyl lining, 3 ft in shallow end 10 ft deep in deep end. He said it cost him about 25,000. Here is a pic.

Re: Those who had in ground pools put in
We were looking at getting one and found estimates to be 15,000 TO 25,000 dollars. So we decided on a 18' above ground pool. The inground was just too expensive.

YOu can always buy an above ground and sink it to make it look inground that would help cut costs as well or you could half sink it and put a deck around it.

This is exactly what we did. It was more cost effective and it looks great.

Re: Those who had in ground pools put in
are you interested in gunite or vinyl?
I've been looking into them and they start around 40k for a gunite, which we would need because of our dogs (our labs would be in that water in instant and I can't risk them tearing the liner.)

I think our pool is about 15 x 26...for the pool itself we paid $5,500...for the installation of the pool we paid $1,500.
Now, the deck... We priced both wood and timberteck (Trek deck)...wood would have been about $3,000 and the timberteck was $8,000...we went with the timberteck and my husband installed it himself (saved a ton of money).
Hope this helps.
