Those who split vaccines.... question
DS has his 2 mon checkup at end of Jan and i def do not want to get all the shots.
What shots did your LO get at their 2 mon visit?

Oh great!!! Im so glad you like them!!!
I told them at that appointment that I didnt feel comfortable giving him all the shots at once and then went on their recommendation as to what shots to give first etc......
PS..Have you checked out your gallery lately?

I remember only getting one shot and I think an oral at their 2 mon. visit. My ped never gives more than 2 shots at an appt.

We started at 3 months and are doing 1 shot at a time. 3 months we did prevnar, 4 months dtap, 5 months prevnar, 6 months dtap. After this round, I am not sure what we will do.

My DS got his 1st shots at 10 weeks. He had the Pediarix (which is Dtap, Hep B, and Polio in one shot), the HiB shot, and an oral one for Rotovirus.
My ped will not do more than 2 shots at once but I was shocked before the apptmt that pediarix was 5 in 1. But, we went with it and our DS was fine. No soreness or redness at either site and he didn't have more than a very slight fever. Gave him Tylenol twice. And I was a mess beforehand, I was so worried about all the whatifs.

Hib (cause it didnt seem that important)
DTaP (cause it did)
PCV (cause it did)
then came back for IPV (polio) and hepB
I did also give her the rotavirus at that time. So techincally out of the 6 I gave her four.
If I could do it all over again I'd prolly choose
DTaP
PCV
Rotavirus
then the next 6weeks given her
IPV
Hib
HepB

7/12 - Hep B
8/12 - Hep B (2nd shot)
9/19 - dTap (2 months old)
10/10 - HIB
11/12 - NO shot she had a cold
12/14 - Pneumococcal
she is way behind in her shots but i don't plan on giving her more then one a viisit
