Those with 2 kids what type of vehical do you drive (NOT A MINIVAN)

my lease is almost up, which means I need to decide on a new car before next year. Within the next 2 years we will probably be on #2, so the car needs to fit 2 car seats.

I am not sure if I want an SUV or a car, so looking to see what other people drive with 2 kids.

ETA: I currently have a jeep cherokee and with just the 1 stroller there is barely any room for anything else in the back. So I won't be getting another.

mazda cx9 3 rows. i fit 3 car seats 3 strolles and 4 adults no problem,


also want to point out that the seats move forward to get into the 3rd row easy with out having to move your car seats. not all 3 row vehicles have this option. usually only the back of the seat moves forwar but thats not easy when theres a car seat attached.

Well we don't have two kids yet.... but we bought a Ford Explorer because it is nice and roomy for not only all of DD's stuff now... but for when we have another. We have put my nephew and his infant car seat in there as well as our cousin's older car seat and there is plenty of room!
ETA- we also have a 3rd row

I have a Pacifica and I love it, but I also really really like the new GMC Acadia.

we have a Chevy Trailblazer and actually looking to upgrade to the Tahoe (Hybrid)

We only have one child but we have a chevy tahoe and I love it. I hate filling up my tank but all the room is great. Our lease is up in January and we're either buying it out or getting something similar.

I'll still be driving my Trailblazer EXT (3rd row) when #2 comes although I would much prefer a mini van.

Chevy Tahoe w/ 3rd row seating.....not sure who is getting pushed to the back when #3 comes along

I have a GMC Envoy now. I'm looking to go into a GMC Acadia or a Buick Enclave shortly. While I don't have 3 kids to *need* a thrid row, I really do want it so I am able to take other passengers. DH said it shouldn't be a problem

I have a Chevy Malibu, it's my work car that they give me for personal use as well. I, personally, don't see the need for anything bigger with just two kids. I have room for everything and I don't have to pay an arm and leg to fill up an SUV (I don't pay for gas with my car, but it's much cheaper if I had too). I used to have a Chevy Equinox and find that they are almost the same thing, except the SUV is higher off the ground.

Well, number 2 will be here in October and I drive a Ford Edge.

We have the Pacifica with out the 3rd row. The 3rd row was so small and seemed useless to us! DH loves driving the car!

Will have 2 soon w/ an 80lb dog. We have a GMC Acadia, with 2nd row captains chairs and a full 3rd row. My parents sit comfortablely in my 3rd row--it's full size. It functions like a minivan without the look LOVE my truck!

We actually just bought, yesterday, the Jeep Commander. We were between the Commander, Cherokee and the Pacifica. The Commander also has 3rd row seating, which is why we decided to go for it.

Don't have 2 kids yet, but, last fall we bought the hundyai santa fe and I love it! 3 rows of seats and comfy.

I drive a Ford Taurus 4 door Sedan and so does my husband.

We're working on #2 and we have a Ford Edge and a Tahoe-both are SUPER roomy and DH has a civic for his work car and even if we HAD to we would be able to fit 2 car seats in his civic.

We're leasing the Edge so when our lease is up we're going to look into the Flex since it had 3 rows of seating.

I only have 2 kids M-F, daytimes

but we fit perfect in my Matrix.

2 big carsets, double stroller and tons of toys.

Love our Camry. 2 Britax Marathons fit in the back fine with room in between (not for a person, but they weren't on top of each other) and I was able to fit a double stroller in the trunk with room for groceries too.

Now DH drives that car and I have a minivan (Honda Odyssey) b/c we frequently have family visiting or local family members coming with us places so we wanted to be able to fit more people instead of 2 cars all the time. I like it, don't love it. But I'm really a car person, I've never loved SUVs or minivans.

I have a Honda pilot which I love. Two of my friends also have one, 1 has 2 kids and the other has 3 kids.
