Those with dark brown hair
What do you do to add extra shine or dimension to your hair. After years of dying my hair every color under the sun I went back to my natural color 4 years ago. I think it's the shade that looks best on me but I feel it's so flat. I don't need to dye it since I don't have any grays but I feel like it needs something extra KWIM. The color is really flat. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Maybe try a colored glaze, you can get a good one at a beauty supply store.

Is it the color or the condition of your hair?
I was going through the same thing. I stopped highlighting my hair & use just a semiperminent to cover my grays and I started to use better products on my hair & it's getting healthier & shinier.

Me too. Sometimes the better stuff is worth it but sometimes not. I use a glaze every 3-4 weeks in the salon but haven't found an over the counter one I like as much.

Thanks Ladies. What glaze do you use and I also had the same question as WhatNow...whats the difference between a glaze and a regular dye?
