thunder ?
so my 2 1/2 yearold 110lb lab never had a problem with fireworks or thunder...then suddenly wednesday night he was petrified of the thunder and again this morning..wednesday night he came jumping into our bed and landed right on my husband and was trying to burry himself into him...he was like this for over an hour and then again this morning...its so odd to me because he never had this problem before..anyone elses dog suddenly afraid of thunder?

not my dog, but my mom's. He would cower in the bathroom during thunderstorms and fireworks after a few years. He wasn't like that as a puppy but as he got older, yeah, he was scared.

Some dogs get worse as they get older. My dog always hated it.
My sisters dog gets really bad. Vet said to give him a children's benadryl to calm him down. It helps

My older dog is a Golden Retriever and she HATES thunderstorms...but recently I saw a doggie jacket in Petco that says it's guaranteed to calm them during storms...

Our Ali was like that, she was always fine with those things, but once fireworks were really loud nearby when she was around 3 or 4 ,and after that she was afraid of fireworks and thunderstorms every time (until she couldn’t really hear them anymore!). Maybe there was one experience that was too close for comfort?
