tips to help get rid of cold
My oldest son is scheduled for surgery on 2/9. My youngest son got an ear infection on Weds, and has been on antibiotics. They both have colds (congested and sometimes runny) and coughs....any suggestions on how to quickly get rid of them....thanks!

Eucalyptus oil in the shower and lots of steam...at least once a day....it makes EVERYTHING drain out....we do this for all of us in this house.
And the usual.....saline, oj, hot tea, soup...etc

I recommend Chammomile tea...and lots of liquids in general as well.

Herbs for Kids Oregon Grape Root works great!!! (Natural product that supports the healthy functioning of the immune system)
I am a big believer in it. It was my chiropractor who initially recommended this to us.
It can be very hard to find this time of year as the secret must be getting out. Wild By Nature carries it near the babyfood/products and some health food stores do as well.
