50 people died in the last 2 weeks and 28 were chlldren.

Our family should not get the mist vaccine and so far, the injectable has not arrived. Our pediatrician said she didn't know how many vaccines she would have, but she thought it would be far less than she wanted, and if the number is quite low, she will offer it to children with underlying health issues first, which makes sense.
Everyone in our family will probably get this shot if we can FIND the shot. That will be the hard part.

We were at my ped and he strongly recommended it, with that said, I'm going to make an appt to get it, esp since we're flying with DD in December!

I am taking DD tomorrow night for dose #2 of the regular flu shot. They do have the H1N1 vaccine available and as long as the dr recommends it, I will be giving it to DD.

Thw #s are getting scary. I took DD for just the reg flu shot a few weeks ago and am now starting to re think my decision against it....and now..my oed is out of it and says to call back mid nov

since ds was sick for 8 days after he had the regular flu (please no one tell me you cant get the flu from the flu shot, he got sick with something and he has never been sick before) we are going to skip the swine flu one... especially since i am preg and cant risk him getting something and giving it to me.. we have basically become hermits since i am very uncomfortable aleady and i have 3 months left
