Toddler Tantrums aimed at mommy
My sweet little boy is no more...
He still is so sweet, but now he has tantrums when he's overtired or really wants something he can't have and you take it away. Mainly likes to hit only mommy. I say be nice, but he still needs to calm so I let him sit and have his tantrum then give hugs after. Seems like it's only at me though. If DH is by him he'll start to hit him and then if he sees me he wants to hit me. I know mommies are the ones who gets abused the most, but sometimes it's hard not to take it personally. Then I get hugs and kisses after, but it sucks
Ugh... then I feel bad for the times I'm mean to my mom and get annoyed with her. It's true... moms always get the abuse. Even my MIL and mom say that

Ann hits me in the face sometimes when I'm holding her and laughs (or pulls my hair). She never does it to DH.
However, she always shakes her head NO when he asks for a hug or a kiss even though she'll always give me or Maddie (the dog) hugs & kisses!!
I guess it all washes out!

Re: Toddler Tantrums aimed at mommy
AJ was playing and pushing at my face then used her little fist to hit me in the mouth. I got very angry and put her in time out "no hitting". A very short time out cause I could see she looked sorry.
Then hugs/kisses and 'orry' with a kind rub on my cheek.
other times she tosses a fit I usually let her have it out for awhile then put her in her room or mine to let her finish it, but I do not tolerate her acting like an animal just because Mommy is close by. It upsets me. Hubby just stays above the fray so she knows she will find no haven there and I'll find no support either
Yeah I get beat up but I do love the hugs and kisses haha
