Tommorow is
the 8 year anniversary of losing my daughter. She was born stillborn at 29 weeks due to pre term labor.
The last two years or so were not that rough. I actually didnt even go to the cemetary on the actual day and was ok and all, and not upset, was getting used the day coming and not having all the pain there.
Why is it hitting me so hard this year? I think because Im TTC and wasnt before. I just wish I was PG right now so badly.
Yet Im also amazed at the fact I "could" have an 8 year old, and Im scared of having or being mature enough for a baby now-8 years later.
I think Im going to go and plant some flowers at the cemetary tommorow, so pray for some nice weather. Its my early day at work so I can go for a little while, unless I stay home and go( not feeling well again anyway).
Just needed to talk about it, thanks for listening girls

I'm so sorry! I think it will do you good to plant some flowers at the cemetery and visit her. I can't imagine what you went through and what you are going through. You are a strong woman going through all of this.
You will be a great mom soon. You were to her and I know she knows it. She is your little angel looking after you.

 Donna, I am so sorry
You are such a strong person, stronger that I could ever be in your shoes. I can imagine that this year feels a bit harder than recent years gone by due to the fact that you are TTC currently. It must bring up a flood of memories for you and the fact that you so wish to be pregnant again and be a mommy again.
Lora said it best - you have a little angel who looks over you, and will look over her future brothers and sisters someday! She already knows how much you love her, and she knew what a wonderful Mommy you were to her - even though your time was too short together
You are going to be a WONDERFUL mother again, please never doubt that for one second!!
Lots of love and hugs I hope tomorrow isn't too difficult for you  and that visiting the cemetery and planting some flowers will bring you some peace and comfort.

Take one day at a time and lean on Danny tomorrow. Take the day off if you need it and take care of yourself. I'm so sorry for your loss and I know that just because it was 8 yrs ago doesn't make it any easier for you. I will say a prayer for you

Its hard Kathy because Danny does not like to talk about it. I will be honest and say I dont think he remembers. He has told me its difficult to think of a time when he couldnt be there for me and wasnt in my life and that I was in pain, so we dont talk all that much about it. We did a little when my uncle passed last month, because he was buried in the same cemetary so we visited the baby.
Im hoping he remembers.
Thanks guys for your thoughts. I feel a little better already

I'm sorry Donna...Sometimes men just seem to find it easier to deal with things by not talking about them.
