Ryan had surgery done when he was 9 months old.
Since he was EBF they told me I could wake him up at 4 and nurse but that had to be the last he are/drink until the procedure.
Since he normally gets up at 6:15 I woke him up a little earlier and just threw him in the car. He was so off schedule that he didn't even want it. We had to be there at 7:30 for 8:00am surgery.
He was totally ok until about 20 minutes before they took him. Then he started getting cranky.
But overall the whole thing really went smoothly. He came out of anesthesia giving kisses  to the nurse.
Many for a smooth morning. I'm sure he will be fine. Babies are so strong!

My DS had anethesia for an MRI when he was 14 months- I was worried about the milk/eating thing b/c he was going in around 9:30 and he eats at 8, but he was so interested in what was going on around him that he didn't cry. The anethesia was scary, but he handled it so well. The put him under with gas and then did the IV for the anethesia. He woke up and was a little out of it, but didn't cry, throw up or anything. Good luck tomorrow.
