Tooth brushing
How well do you feel your toddlers teeth get brushed? Sydnie is Miss Independant and I have to fight her for the real toothbrush so she ends up brushing with that and I use that blue finger condom thingy. Is that good enough or should I have the fight and be the one to use the brush???

Re: Tooth brushing
I do whatever he lets me do - it also helps if I let him brush my teeth while I brush his

Re: Tooth brushing
As long as any type of brushing is happening, I think you're in good shape

Re: Tooth brushing
Since they can't use toothpaste for a while I assume her letting the toothbrush in her mouth is perfect.
Ryan lets me brush his teeth first. I say "say ahhhhh" and he does while I brush them. Then when I am done I give him the toothbrush and he just kind of hangs with it for a minute or two.

Re: Tooth brushing
We just started this and my ped said just do the best you can. He lets me brush for like, a second and then he takes the brush himself and sucks on it....
