Re: Tooth fairy
My DS also had to have his two front teeth pulled at 4. We were planning on leaving him $10 for both teeth, since they were his first.
Of course, that night neither DH nor I had anything smaller than a $20, so he got that.
Every tooth going forward will just get a $1

Re: Tooth fairy
My DD still hasn't lost teeth yet, crazy because she's 7, but we plan on leaving $5 for the first tooth and $1 for every tooth after that.

Tooth fairy
We did 10 for the first, 5 for each after. There was that one time a tooth came out, out of nowhere and he got a 20. We make it VERY clear that since it was short notice the tooth fairy didn't have time to get change.

The same thing happened to us. My 6 year old had his first 2 pulled and we "had" to give him $20. She left him a note letting him know that it was because he had lost 2 and had been very brave at the dentist though. The rest of his teeth he'll be getting $1 each for.

Boy I must be cheap! I did 1$ per tooth! Just consider what your budget for all those teeth will be after you go through all of them.
When DD got them pulled I may have done $2. I could not imagine giving $20!
I'm all about this.. My sister does 25 for first teeth and then like 5 bucks. Tooth fairy is going to be cheap at my house. However, I'm getting over because my son is 7 and hasn't lost any.

I just this, so she's on the same teeth track my son is. My niece is the same age and has lost so many, he gets upset. He doesn't even have any loose.

Tooth fairy
My parents use to give me quarters and I was happy. IMO a 5 year old does not the understand the true value of money so I think $20'or more is way overboard...but that's just me, so like, don't yell at me or anything lol
