Talk to him about it tomorrow and see what he says, if he is still struggling I would call and speak to the Ped and see what they think. GLChat Icon

Re: Totally freaked out...please tell me what you think of this.

I wouldn't think anything of it really but just keep it in the back of my mind. My son will be 6 soon and is in a weird stage where he will just flat out say untruths even if he knows I know they are not true. He then pretends like he actually believed it and smiles. I've had to have the boy who cried wolf talk with him.

Personally I wouldn't think the homework thing is related but like I said I'd keep an eye on it.Chat Icon

thanks ladies, you calmed me down...just get worried. I know 3 people who have been diagnosed with a brain tumor, one of them was my brother and one a child. I guess I am getting paranoid.

I do not think he was lying, I usually know...but maybe he was just not paying attention.

Thanks again

I think your son just didn't care about it at the time you were discussing it. DD comes home from school, I ask her what she learned and she says she doesn't remember. I just think that is her answer to hope that I go away Chat Icon

DS, who is 6, gives me answers like "I don't know" or "I don't remember" when he doesn't want to talk about something (almost every day). I think the "I don't remember" is just his way to get me to stop asking him questions. The more I ask, the less he will talk.

This is my DS, he is 7. If he is not interested in the convo he won't remember. He also struggles with his hw if he'd rather be doing something else (playing outside with his friends), somedays he is just more antsy than others. I would just keep my eye on it!
