Touchy Subject - Eating Disorders

Hi All,

I just put up a poll, and I don't want anyone to post anything, but just out of curiousity - has anyone suffered or currently suffers from an eating disorder?

I think we did this a few months ago, but I will play....yes, I was anorexic, mainly having to do with ballet. I actually wrote about it for Dance magazine, so I'm not shy talking about it. There was so much pressure on me to get thinner, and the thinner I got, the more attention I got. I was away at a ballet program, and with no one there to see that I ate....I didn't. I came home with no period, and weighing 98 pounds at my current height of 5'4. I'm 120 now and healthy, and thankful it didn't go on and on. Sometimes, I slip into patterns of thinking I'm heavy, but DH is right on my tail and he helps keep me balanced.
