Town of Huntington Folks - Party Permit
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with getting a permit to have a picnic/party on a town park or beach? I thought this might be a fun way to celebrate DD's summer birthday. I looked on-line and it looks like it's $25.00 just to apply and you might not even get it... then it's $100.00 plus $50.00 for a beer license... is it worth it?
also, not every park is listed on there? what about the others? i was thinking of Skudder Park...that tiny little park in Norhport -they have tables and grills and it's right on the water, but not busy like the main area off Main Street.
Ideas...thoughts... suggestions.
