Traveling to Disney with 3.5 year old and 11 month old... advice needed!
(Dina's post and photos have inspired me!)
We are thinking about booking a trip for the fall. DD#1 will be 3.5, and DD#2 will be almost 1. Has anyone done the trip with similar ages? Where did you stay and what type of room did you have? The sleeping arrangements are what worries me the most about the trip!

I did, we stayed at the Polynesian, but I would recommend any hotel that is on the monorail.... at the hotel we requested 2 porto-cribs and although we were a bit cramped, they slept just fine!

Disney is great. We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside and really had a wonderful time. The bus was timely and convenient. (Of course the monorail is better if you can afford it.) Once we drove to the Magic Kingdom by car and it took us 1.5 hours each way , the bus was 25 min. Also, if you are going to other resorts for dinner you can hop on the boat to downtown disney and bus to any other resort.
We drove so we brought our own portacrib for our little one, but they o provide a portacrib or playpen at the hotel. Most resorts will accomadate a 3.5 yr old with either a rollaway bed (just inches from the ground) or bed rails. We had our choice and realized that our room actually had the perfect bed for our almost 4 yr old tucked under one of the beds.
We used a sit and stand stroller which was just the right size for us to go on buses with. OUr older one did not really nap and when he did we just returned to the hotel. We stayed out late and he was exhausted so we would give him the little ones seat and carry the baby. The walk from buses to room was pretty short.
You can also rent strollers or use a double if you prefer.
I really liked the website disboards.com when planning my trip. Enjoy!

Not Disney, but we just did Seaworld and SD Zoo with a 3 yo and a 9 mo. The Bjorn was our saving grace. We could have probably gotten away with two strollers, but we took the double and I was reletively happy with that decision.
We got a crib and the baby slept there. We were going to have DS sleep on the couch in the room, but by the second night it was DS and me in the bed and DH on the couch
