Travelling Questions - BTDT Toddler moms

so, I'm packing for our family trip to italy and I feel like it was too easy...what am I forgetting?

I have packed my 20month old DS:

-shorts
-t-shirts
-swimming trunks/shirts
-zip hoodie
-sandals/sneakers
-60 diapers
-pkg of wipes
-swim diapers
-hat
-infant tylenol
-toothpaste/toothbrush
-bandaids
-sippys
-bottles (yep, still on them for milk - argh)

and i will pack the following tomorrow:
-sunscreen
-thermometer
-socks
-books/toys
-pjs

thanks...i feel like i'm losing my mind

I would also bring Benadryl incase he has an allergic reaction to something.

bulb thingy for nose and possibly mylicon? - just an overall first aid kit?? (little remedies has one that we keep in the car)...

I agree with the benedryl and nose bulb thing. Also more than one package of wipes, a travel diaper bag, pants (in case it gets cold), swim diapers?

a blanket.... even a small one... soap/shampoo... though i have to say that we just got back from vaca and the washclothes with the soap built in were an absolute lifesaver

I wouldn't bring the diapers, you can get Pampers anywhere and if you are landing in a big city and going onto a small town, you can pick them up in a big city. When I travel I never bring diapers with me, I buy them when I get there.

I would bring a small pharmacy with you, although you can get the same types of products abroad, its comforting to have your own stuff with you. When I went on my honeymoon to Japan, I got the runs, I had to use a dictionary to describe it to the pharmacist Not pretty.

ETA: I correct (I'm and ESL teacher) their writing and one of their favourite topics is poo.

yeah i just went away with ds and almost forgot it too.. but ours was a car trip and i luckily had blankie #2 in the stow away for emergencies
