treating newborn dry skin?
my baby is starting to dry up are you allowed to use lotions or oils on a newborn he is 4days old.

DS was born with horrible dry skin due to low fluids and his ped. told me not to use anything for a little while and just to let it fall off on his own... At our two week visit, he told us to use Eucerin and it worked great!

we used aquafor babywash and aquafor ointment.... ds has a ped dermatologist he has always seen and that is what he recommended

i used a tiny bit of baby oil on my infant's skin (which is very sensitive) and she did just fine.
