Newborn skin irritation on neck...
so DD has some red bumps on her neck, I am thinking either it baby acne, or when she spit up at night. We bathe her every other day, and I wipe her face and neck every morning, follow by aquaphor.
Does anyone else's DC have this?
So my MIL came over yesterday, immediately pointed out the baby acne and the irritation on her neck, and told me I have to clean her and put vaseline on it... don't get me wrong, my MIL is a nice woman, but I am tired of her being so critical when it comes to taking care of DD, like I am a bad mother

Totally normal. It sounds to me like you are doing everything right.
People can be so frikkin annoying when it comes to opinions. We've all been there.

it looks bad, but I knew it's normal newborn symptoms.
This is my first MIL rant.. she really is a good mother, but she's also very old school. By being a first time mom, I already have a lot of doubts of my mothering abilities, and the criticisms doesn't help 
When she's over, DD doesn't sleep well, because MIL holds her ALL the time, and put her in so much clothes, that I am sure DD is overheating.
