Trouble sleeping
I know that my hormones are out of whack but I just had a complete crying fit because I can't get comfortable in bed. I have a ton of pillows and a body one, and no matter what position I'm in, I'm in pain. I feel like I only gained weight in my belly. My tummy is so tight and I hate the feel of the comforter and sheets. I hate restless leg syndrome!! Tell me I'm not alone...what are you all doing to make sleeping a little easier? I'm also on strict bed rest which makes matters worse

Re: Trouble sleeping
I'm so sorry you're having such a rough time! The bed rest definitely doesn't make it any easier. Are you allowed to move to the couch during the day for a change of scenery?
I have a hard few nights too and I'm only 16 weeks. I think I've slept with a different blanket/quilt/comforter every day for the last week. I feel like Goldilocks & the three bears, except nothing is "just right" lol
Right now I'm trying to tire myself out on the iPhone so I'll hopefully be too tired to notice.

Re: Trouble sleeping
Hey! Sorry you are having such a rough time! I had the same problems toward the end. Being on bedrest doesn't help much because you don't feel tired when you go to bed. I just learned to accept I may not sleep at night and tried not to stress about it too much. I figured I could always sleep the next day! I am not a napper but toward the end I just slept whenever I could. If I couldn't get to sleep within a half hour or so I went on the couch to read or watch tv for a bit and I would usually fall asleep there. As far as the restless legs have joe give you a leg massage right before bed that helped me a little bit.
Hang in there!

That's what I'm starting to notice! I can sleep better during the day for some reason!! I might try sleeping on the living room couch tonight...it's definitely firmer than the bed. This week I definitely want to prop myself up on a lounge chair outside and read...I don't want to stay inside with the beautiful weather!!
I hope you had a great 1st Mother's Day with !! I can't believe they'll be 4 months in a few days...where has the time gone??

the couch defiently works fro me better some nights
also when my restless leg syndrome acts up - i increase the iron i am getting - i usually add in asupplement and it helps it go away

Re: Trouble sleeping
I'm almost 26 weeks.. my back is KILLING me... I feel like my joints are just weak and my knee constantly twitches when I try to sleep. I feel like I haven't gotten a good nights sleep since my 1st trimester lol..
