Trump. And you STILL want to vote for him????

Just suggested it would be ok to assassinate Hillary.

This message is not to those who will vote for him. Rather to those orf you who are on the fence.

Just this week almost all of GWB cabinet came out and said he is not fit to be president and would put this country in danger.

But today?

What an ass. You may not live her but the shit that comes out of his mouth should prove he is not fit to be president.

Trump. And you STILL want to vote for him????

Typical liberal spin. Trump was obviously referring to voters who support the second amendment.

Trump. And you STILL want to vote for him????

His quote was- "If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don't know."

He's smart. The statement has enough ambiguity in it so if some nut job interprets what he said in the way most people have, he can just say that they misinterpreted what he said.

But I'm not quite sure how else that quote can be interpreted.

And suggesting they do what?

This was what he said:

“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment,” he said. “By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day.”

I don't think he meant to suggest someone go assassinate Hillary. But it does show his lack of ability to communicate. He didn't clearly say the 'second amendment people need to get out the vote.' He left it open to interpretation. This was very, very foolish of him, especially since he 'has the best words.' Chat Icon

It's another example of him speaking without thinking. Do we really think he's competent enough to negotiate deals with foreign leaders? Sorry, I think he's a moron. This is another example.

I agree. It's ambiguous-- just like the Second Amendment Chat Icon .

Trump supporters like him cause "he tells it like it is and says what he means". But in this case: trump supporters will say "that's not what he meant".

Trump. And you STILL want to vote for him????

I just think this is a great example of people thinking differently. I never in a million years would think he's asking for Hillary to be assassinated. He's asking for votes. I don't think there is another interpretation.

Do you know why his supporters call her "killary"? Just wondering if there is any association between what he says about her and that "nickname"

It's my understanding that Killary comes from the Benghazi/Vince Foster, etc. deaths that seem to surround Hillary. I don't know that's it's necessarily more pro-Trump than it is anti-Hillary.

I don't love the guy but this was what I figured, that he was asking for 2nd amendment supporters to unite against her. I feel like every word that comes out of their mouths are being so over analyzed at this point. I cannot wait for this election to be over. What a sh!t show.

And let's not forget that he is completely lying when he says she wants to take away our second amendment rights.

I mean, why say she has no intention? That does not get votes.

Like when the GOP promised, swore, gave a death oath, sold their first born child telling their constituents that Obama was going to take their precious guns.

How did that pan out?

But yes, the fact we are discussing it is laughable.

Re: Trump. And you STILL want to vote for him????

Unfortunately this is another example of one of his speech that will need clarification on Twitter later on. Like the others before.

His entire campaign is foot in the mouth and ambiguous comments.

A president is clear in his/her language. It is very important so there is no room for interpretation for it's citizens but other world leaders. And they never need to clarify themself on a regular basis on Twitter.

In this case, he totally left it ambiguous and he knew what he was saying but just enough to say he did not say it. He never said vote. It is pure speculation to say this is what he meant. He made sure to imply she would be taken care of. All experts are saying this kind of left for interpretation talk is very dangerous.

Anyway you slice it is NOT a an appropriate comment for a presidential nominee to make. It is down right insane. If he wanted people to vote he could have said there is nothing you can , but you are 2nd amendment people are well organized and need to unite and vote ( or something along those lines)

If it was an average Joe that says half the stuff he has said we would have Secret Service, FBI, Homeland, etc at our home in a heartbeat taking us to jail, but he makes threats and nothing. It's total crap.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is such an unintelligent man and he should STOP talking. EVERYTHING out of his mouth makes him look more stupid by the minute. He is just SO unfit to lead a nation!

If anyone can actually say that this quote can be interpreted in ANY OTHER WAY, you're literally so far gone, it's astonishing. If anyone in general said something close to this (a boss, family member, etc), it would be taken seriously. WTF gives Trump a pass to say sh*t like this?!? It makes me so furious!!!!! Like really, my blood barely boils... but it's going TOO FAR.

Liberal spin, my ass. He insinuated that someone could assassinate her once elected if she picked judges they don't like.

STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR THIS NUT BAG.

This exactly. But I will add that I CAN see how it could be interpreted in another way. While I do not believe in the least bit that that's what he was insinuating, I can see how it could be interpreted that way, and IMO that's dangerous as a President. A President needs to be succinct in what he's saying - very direct, no room for interpretation, no games with words. He is failing miserably at that.

That may be, but people at his rallies are constantly yelling "kill the *****" in reference to her. There are people out there who DO want her dead and his words are just dangerous and irresponsible.

He's inciting the nutbag gunheads to potentially assassinate a presidential nominee but doing so as ambiguously as possible so he can't be responsible.

This is who you want to run our country.
