I will admit, I'm sh*tting my pants a bit over Trump.
To me, he comes across as way too fascinated by and willing to use nuclear weapons. When he was asked about using them in Europe, the ONLY acceptable answer was "No I will not ever do that."
He is too tight with Putin, and has not be truthful about their relationship.
He has expressed admiration of Kim Jung Un who is completely insane.
He has been threatening the first amendment because he doesn't like the media. Does this raise an alarm for anyone else?
He appears to not understand, and may not care, how the government works. The Supreme Court is not an investigative body, for starters.
You can look up and verify everything I stated above. I really do not understand how anyone can vote for him. And I didn't even get into his economic plans which will be disastrous.
I will take the shady I know over the dangerous I don't.

He's a ********* but IMO so is HRC..he's just more transparent about it.
The problem I see here is people bashing Trump supporters...stop it. Everyone is entitled to vote for who they think is the better candidate..even if you don't agree and it doesn't make sense to you. It seems to me like the liberals who are supposed to be more accepting seem to be the ones doing most of the bashing on here.
Me personally I think it's a sad sad situation that America has to choose between two horrible candidates for President. This year pretty sure I'm voting third party candidate..I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing I helped in electing either one of those two assholes.

Diane, really... people have BEGGED here for information from the other side but no one ever wants to share it.
No one is shoving anything down your throat. In fact, no one seems to be taking aim at the supporters on this thread at all..
Donald Trump is a piece of garbage IMO and I like to discuss it here with other people who both agree and disagree with me. I won't apologize for my opinion. I'm just calling it how I see it. Is it only okay to do that when you pretend to be a republican?

IMHO.
I am holding on to the hope if people actually do vote him in ( I want to say this sentence in much a different way but I am refraining) that the electoral college will not allow it to happen.
I am not saying Hillary should be it just not Trump. He should not be the face representing this country!!

You - nor anyone - has ever offered a productive response. He has no policies, no potential legislation, no standing on any important topics that make any rational, logical sense.
When there is literally NOTHING that supports his wild claims (they are words, they have no actual, factual basis nor does he have any actual, factual policies) people are dumbfounded. Absolutely dumbfounded. Everyone says they are voting for him but no one says WHY other than to say Hillary is a liar and he speaks the truth?
ETA: I am not looking for anyone to respond with their reasons, this is a commentary on how people don't have anything to back DT up.

My thought is that if I can inform ONE person who is on the fence to vote for HRC then I have done what I can for the country.
She is not super prize. However I ALWAYS start my posts with "if you are on the fence" (as people have said they are) and end with "I implore you to CONSIDER..."
We cant afford him as a president.

If you don't want the read people's opinions about Trump don't open the threads about him. It's really simple. But to say that others can't discuss him just because you don't like what is being said. . . Well now I get why you support him. Apparently you both believe it's okay to stifle the voices of those who don't agree with you. I have no false illusions that I (or anyone on here) will change anyone's mind, but we are all free to discuss the topic if we want.
And I've asked several times before and would love a real answer - Why do you support Trump? Not why do you hate Hillary, but what has Trump said he will do, what he believes in, that had made you decide to support him?

If you watch the reaction of the older couple just over Trump's left shoulder...as soon as he makes the comment, they smile, smirk & laugh & give each other a look like "daaaamn did he just say that??"
They certainly didn't think he was talking about voting. Just an observation. A lot of his followers are scary ass people who all need to be put in a time out. I don't have kids but I would not want him to be their role model...nor Melania "hey girls, you too can marry for money & have it all"

I just can't anymore. He is awful. He could potentially be one of the most powerful people in the world, a spokesperson for the USA and he is forever putting his foot in his mouth. Lots of people tell it like it is and can do so in a way that doesn't degrade a gender, or insinuate murder. This man is a mockery and yet he is a choice for POTUS?

I'm not a trump supporter at all. But Melania not being a role model? I kinda feel bad for her, dragged through this. I know it's all about the $$ but I don't think she ever expected this.
And honestly, Hillary isn't much of a role model in my eyes and neither is Bill. "Hey girls, your husband can shove cigars up interns vaginas but it's okay because you can have it all!!!"

I totally agree. There is just so much and so little to say about this.
Trump is disgusting. I also think if you are a Trump supporter, one really needs to do some re-thinking. And, please, don't bring up the emails or Benghazi; there are so many counter arguments to that.
I'm just so tired of this and I wish it were November 9th already. But WHEN Trump loses, I'm sure there will be more drama.

I am not a Trump supporter nor am I a Hillary supporter. Trump is not polished and puts his foot in his mouth more often than not. Hillary has been in the public eye for most of her life so she has learned how not to act like a fool. Now do I want someone for President that says stupid remarks from time to time but is relatively transparent in his views, or do I want someone who tries to say the correct thing but who the hell knows what she is saying behind closed doors and the majority of the country does not trust.
There is a lot wrong with our government and that is the main reason why people voted for Trump to begin with. Things have to change. Immigration is a mess, we have a ton of homeless and hungry children, racism from all sides is out of control, terrorism is at an all time high, the economy still sucks and people still can't find jobs. I don't care what the polls read about the economy because almost every single person I know is doing no better and most worse than they were 10 years ago. The healthcare system is a fiasco and Obamacare is a joke. I'm not saying he is the answer (probably far from it) but people are sick and tired of the way things are and Hillary is the symbolism of things staying the same. Over and over people say that Hillary will just be another 4 years of Obama and many do not want that.
Trump hates the media because the media hates Trump. They are suppose to be impartial but they are FAR from it. Yes he said a stupid remark about the 2nd Amendment but I also want to know why Hillary was speaking and the father of the Orlando shooter, who has terrorist affiliations, is sitting smack dab behind her on screen. What is that showing and was that even on the news? If it was, definitely it was swept by.
I am embarrassed as a republican that Trump is our nominee and I am equally embarrassed that the first woman who may be president is Hillary.
Lets also remember that there are checks and balances in government and just because whoever is elected President just can't do whatever they want. That is why it is so important to vote for your House and Senate Representatives.

Honestly the American people deserve better. I feel like if by some miracle both parties decided to put forth different candidates, the majority of us would be much much happier to at least have a choice. Now there is no choice except between horrible and awful.

I do think Trump hates the media, for sure. But I don't think he always did, and I don't think they hated him either until recently. If you think back to the months leading up to summer, he'd call into tv news programs regularly. One morning I got fed up because Morning Joe was having him call in- AGAIN- so I changed the channel. Later that morning he called whatever show I'd switched to. And he was really the only one who got to do that, at least as often as he did. And they asked him ridiculous easy questions too- I heard an audio clip of him & the Morning Joe hosts that was recorded without them realizing their mikes were on- and they were going over the questions they'd ask. Trump said, "ok, nothing too hard" And that's how it went for months until the media realized they had done a ****** job, hadn't pressed him enough and they unintentionally helped him get the nomination. If they'd done their jobs with integrity instead of for ratings and clicks, he would have imploded (like he's doing now) and we'd have another candidate.

Typical liberal spin SPIN?? Spin is the last 25 years of the GOP twisting every breath out of Clinton's mouth to be some kind of evil plot to take over the universe. The proof is the vast number of people who believe it all, and hold her responsible for things that every other (male) politician gets pardoned for (and I'm NOT saying she's a saint, but she's actually a human being which she doesn't get credit for).
Meanwhile, here we are reading transcripts and watching unedited videos of Trump inciting violence, saying hateful, racist, inflammatory things at anyone who disagrees with him but we're misinterpreting his OWN WORDS heard with our OWN EARS. 
Honestly, thinking that this man is a better candidate than almost anyone else is what's wrong with this country. We're so filled with hate and fear, that we admire a school yard bully. We're so weak we're willing to elect a greedy, narcissistic, unqualified hot head to represent us. I truly I believe he's going to leave us in shambles like Germany after WWII - broken, hated by everyone and powerless.
