Re: Trump supporters!
I don't think anyone is going to agree with everything he does. Did you agree with everything Obama did? Probably not yet there was still support for him.
As for people to have to lay out the line where they stop supporting him, I think that will vary for different people. People care about different issues. I know I don't vote for any party based on just 1 issue. You may complain that money is all that matters to some, and that may be true.
I know a gay couple who voted for Trump because they are financially in a bad placexperience, have been for years and are hoping that Trump can strengthen the economy and that they will be able to afford health care because they couldn't with Obama care, so they pay the penalty. For them right now financial stability is more important to them. Not that they don't care about being able to stay married or womans issues.
So far I think his rants and tweeting is ridiculous. I think that the whole how many people were at the inauguration is stupid. I also think ithat as started by the media. Trump should just ignore it.
I think most of what he signed over the last few days are powerful.things that are going to help the country. Just because you don't like his stance on a subject doesn't mean I am an uneducated moron.
I don't go through my day scared. Reading some of these responses make normally intelligent woman sound insane. Like they should be building shelters underground to survive the apocalypse.
If you don't like what is happening get off LIF and get involved. Not sure what you think complaining on here is going to do for you.

I think people are coming on here to share information, maybe to get other perspectives. Also, you have to admit a lot has been going on the past couple of days. That's going to be reflected in the content of posts on this forum. It's only natural.

Was looking for actual questions that moms or dads had that needed answering and again the feed is clogged with this nonsense. So again, Trump supporters..please dont pay any mind to these women. Don't answer their questions because everything you say will be wrong. This post was made to bait you guys into an argument. As you can see its the same couple of woman who go on and on about Trump like they have nothing better to do with their lives. My God...is your life this boring that the only satisfaction you get is to be behind you phone/computer like a bunch of high schoolers harping on the same subject. Its 50 degrees outside, go breath in the fresh air and thank whatever God you pray to that you are still able to do that.
Yet here you are...

Of course there are things I wouldn't support. But I am not going to live my life worrying about the what ifs. During the campaign all the candidates said alot of things. Most of these things they just say and never actual make happen. It is the saddest part of the political process. I like to see the actual facts or actions that something is going to happen before I get hysterical. Many woman are up in arms about the order he signed to abolish funding abortion. He stopped money being sent to other countries for abortion. This to me makes sense. Let their governments deal with it. Use that money to take care of the homeless here or our veterens. People are freaking out about him taking away Obama care. You haven't seen the plan for his replacement yet. Give him a chance to lay it out. People are so quick to say it is only day 3 so he can't take credit for anything good. It is only day 3 so give him a chance to lay things out. I just think the hysteria is over done on this board.

Umm…yeah, the emails DO matter still….to say otherwise is terrifying and ignorant. Most here supported someone who had 30,000 emails destroyed by a bleach bit so that the FBI wouldn’t find it. Hello!!!! That’s a CRIME!!!! What didn’t she want found? Besides the bigoted and racist emails from HER CAMP….LOL….whatever. HRC supporters don’t want to face it and just keep saying, Oh, it doesn’t matter anymore!!! But she would be running our country if it were up to NY and CA….Lord help us. Dems would rather spit out whatever CNN throws at them without researching the facts. Funny, I can’t remember this kind of outrage when good old Billy ADMITTED to SEXUAL HARASSMENT….but that was OK….let’s ream our President for remarks he made years ago. Same thing, or worse, right? LMAO….I just laugh at you all. Go wallow in all your hate and bitterness.
Your post is just nuts!! Listen--- I have been a registered democrat since 18 years old. I DID NOT VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON. I believe she is a liar and a corrupt manipulator, and I agree about her poor judgement and criminal behavior with her email server. I voted for a third party candidate bc my candidate of choice, Bernie Sanders, was screwed over by her and the DNC. I have never voted third party before and always voted for the Dem nominee before this election. That's how much I detest Hillary.
Given we agree on all that. DJT is 1000000000 times worse! It's not about her. It's about you guys as DJT supporters. I want to know how you voted for that orange turd and what you think NOW about his bold face lying, bullying tactics, anti woman, anti education, anti intelligence, anti healthcare, anti environmental agenda. Well?

I appreciate this balanced perspective. I wish there was exchange happening like this from both ideological camps on this board, but it sadly runs thin.
I do wish that Trump supporters would weigh in on some of the really rattling cabinet appointments and the threat to civil rights. I feel like these always take a backseat to economic issues, but they are also important. DeVos is especially upsetting for about 100 reasons. The secrecy and lying that have characterized this administration are upsetting. This is why people sound hysterical: it feels like a threat to the fabric of our democracy, and it feels like Trump supporters are dismissive of that.
To the anti-Trumpers: please, PLEASE, for the love of God stop inviting people who voted for him into a thread if you are going to subsequently mock and attack. That does not change anyone's mind ever. And she's right: if you're angry, go out and engage in real political action. Posting on this message board only lulls you into feeling politically engaged but is meaningless if its not backed by real participation.

I agree with this. I couldn't understand the "where do you draw the line" invitation. Trump is following through on campaign promises, which they clearly supported, so there is no line to be drawn at this point.

I didn't create this thread to bait anyone. I'm genuinely curious where his supporters stand on issues. Three pages and not one supporter is able to give an actual issue. It says a lot and I think I have my answer. I also don't think I mocked or attacked anyone.
Agree about taking action.

The question went beyond the campaign promises. A lot has happened in the days since his inauguration that goes beyond what he promised. Gag orders, threats of federal govt overstepping into state territory, outright lies, etc. It's a legitimate question.
Actually, MandJZ posted a whole list on page 2 of actions.

I guess I am not understanding what you are looking for?. It isnt and all or nothing thing. For me I don't have one specific thing in my head that is the line yet. I don't know that one thing would turn me against him completely . I don't love his pick for education by any means. 1. She hasn't been confirmed 2. I would like to see what the plan is. She alone can't dismantle our education system. IF it goes in the direction that everyone has already assumed it will I would have concern. I have reached out to the right political people to voice my opinions on her. I dont feel the need to rant about it to the masses on LIF or call the people who are not publically voicing their outrage of it ignorant or some of the other nasty things that have been said. It also doesn't mean I don't still support other things he is trying to do. I don't hang my hat on 1 issue when our country has many. I think it would be a bold face lie if people said there was nothing Obama did that they didn't like. Those things didn't necessarily change their support of him.
So when you say you have your answer what does that mean?

I'm sorry these 2 responses are the most intelligent, well written responses in regards to all the political chatter in the past 3 days. To bookworm- I don't even know the "side " you are on and but your post was so eloquently written and you really perfectly summed up how I feel. Whether we agree or disagree i read your post and didn't roll my eyes once.lol. In all serious it's too bad we can't all speak like this.
I am so over these same Trump bashers jumping on everything. If anyone says anything remotely in support of Trump the same handful attack. Those girls really have a lot of free time I guess.

I'm sorry if I misspoke and put it on you, as the OP, for "inviting" people and then attacking. I was really talking about the general pattern of what happens to any thread where supporters are explicitly asked to contribute. I really REALLY hate the guy, but the anger I see on here (which I'm sympathetic to) needs to be channeled into some constructive political action.
I'm also going to post the following video with the disclaimer that I voted for Hillary because I have always seen Trump as incredibly dangerous and undignified and felt that HRC would have been a decent leader. If you really want to know why he won, this girl's not wrong, and she basically sums up why I did NOT vote for O in 2012.

Trump supporters!
Glad to see i'm not the only one who sees how these "women" enjoy attacking other women for views that are not similar to theirs.

There is no attacking going on here. I mean if you want to get petty, look how you put women in " ". That's pretty obnoxious, TBH. From that little jab, it says to me that you think the women who are speaking out are not women.
These women are people who are scared and are speaking out. This situation with Cheeto is NOT NORMAL. They are concerned about their rights and what will happen to them. Can you be any more tone deaf?

Re: Trump supporters!
Yeah not these days, maybe when I had major complications with my first pregnancy and needed support and had many questions on the pregnancy board. Hmmm 2009.... when I didn't have 2 kids to worry about . Anyway I must get on with my day... you know outside of LIF politics

I really don't get that response, but whatever. You might want to worry a bit about your kids' future because it doesn't look too bright right now.

Bc I have to respond- my comment was in response to you saying I had more posts than you. Nah .... I probably have more posts bc I used to be very active in the good old days of LIF and when I had something very major pregnancy wise going. They certainly weren't from talking politics non stop and bandgering other "women" bc I don't have the same political views as them. As someone else said to me last week, I'll use the same phrase.....You may think your candidate was the be all end all, next best thing etc etc.... stop badgering those who maybe just don't agree with you.
Oh and to add- don't tell me about what I need to worry about when it comes to my kids.
