Trying to stay positive...
but I'm feeling a little down. Back in October I had really though I would be PG by now and that Christmas would be when we told our families. So now as I'm (supposed) to be getting ready to go to SIL's house I'm feeling very sad. Christmas is my favorite time of the year so I don't want all the TTC stress to ruin it for me but it's just so hard, as you ladies know all too well. It doesn't help that we are the only ones who will be there tonight who don't have kids. I love all my nieces and my nephew but I feel like this year watching them open presents is just going to break my heart. I also feel like we're going to disappoint everyone as I KNOW they are expecting to hear good news tonight.
Ok vent over, thanks for listening. Merry Christmas ladies. I hope we all get our BFP's soon!

Awwww hun Im sorry
I really hope it happens for us soon! Please dont let it ruin your Christmas...try to enjoy the holidays with DH
Dont worry about everyone else being disappointed because that puts more pressure and stress on you and your DH. My parents keep bringing it up as well and I feel like they think its supposed to happen right away and it isnt TTC is much harder than I thought. I just hope we get our BFPs soon so that next year we'll have a little one to spend Christmas with
Merry Christmas

I know how you feel. My aunt said to me yesterday that she's waiting to hear good news. It's like..duh, me too! Just remember that when it happens, it will be so exciting, especially since you've been waiting for it to happen. Of course, I should take my own advice

Re: Trying to stay positive...
This was the worst part of TTC - it took us awhile and I hated all the comments and questions - they only made me feel worse. My heart goes out to all of you - hope to see each and every one of you on the pregnancy board soon!

I'm sorry you're so sad, but try not to let it ruin this time of year for you.
I know what you mean - we started TTC in October, and I wanted to give sono pics as Chanukah presents... that didn't seem to work out. But at least I can toast on New Year's Eve and not feel guilty!

Re: Trying to stay positive...
i totally understand. we started TTC in may. i thought i would be 7 months pregnant by now. but that's not what mother nature had in mind, so hopefully we will all have September/October 2010 due dates!
