TTC and travel ques - Aruba/Alaska
Would you feel more comfortable travelling to Aruba or Alaska?

Not sure what either has to do with TTC?
i'd prefer to go to Aruba, but that's a personal preference not anything to do with TTC'ing

Since we are TTC, we may be lucky enough to be PG when we travel - both destinations are far but not sure if one would be more "safe" or "comfortable" than the other...just wanted to get thoughts from others

Either is ok, I would understand if you were very preg. but if you are just ttc either may help the process. :) Have fun!
If I had to pick I would say Alaska though less temping for the drinking.

Ahh good point re: drinking...I love my tropical destinations but avoiding drinks may be painful

DH and I have never been on a cruise so we are going to take a small 4-day cruise to the Bahamas from Florida. I think it is a Carnival Cruise.

Thanks!!! We have put off booking it because you can't cruise at your 24th week of PG and beyond but since I am out this month even if I do get PG next month the cruise will be a few weeks before my 24th week.

I'd vote Alaska...just b/c of the less temptation to drink as pp said, and I'd prefer to have access to American doctors just in case I needed any preg-related medical attention.

I'd go where you really want to and the one you're less likely to go as a parent. We used to vacation 1-2 times per year before having DD. While pregnant we went to Mexico for a babymoon - the resorts make super yummy virgin drinks so I never missed the alcohol. I wouldn't let that change your mind.
But, Alaska is far and you may not feel comfortable leaving your baby and going that far so it could be a good pre-baby vacation. We travel a lot with our daughter to visit friends and family but its not a real vacation because you can't really relax. If my parents ever offer to watch DD, I think I want to go to a beach and just sleep!
