TTC with PCOS
Hi ladies! My doctor sent me for an ultrasound to see what's going on with my weird periods and it looks like I might have PCOS. I'm having CD3 blood work after my next period. I got a + opk today and feel like a bloated whale, which I hope isn't happening in vain and that egg is popping!
Just wondering if anyone else is dealing with this. Sounds like I have my work cut out for me in the coming months
to everyone!

Re: TTC with PCOS
I am right there with you. I was diagnosed with PCOS quite a few years ago and have had surgery twice to remove ovarian cysts. Been taking metformin. I have been getting smileys on my opk's and had the CD3 blood test, shows I am definitely ovulating.
My bf also has PCOS, with her first baby she did clomid. She is prego with her 2nd and got there naturally with out actually trying! There is hope for us!!! Good luck!!!

TTC with PCOS
I have PCOS for as long as I can remember it has been a long and painful journey. Now as an adult it has more of an impact on me. At this point I am working with my OBGYN because I refuse to try meds to conceive (this is a personal choice and I do advocate for the use of meds to conceive this is just a personal choice). I currently am using natural supplements: cinnamon b12, acupuncture etc. I have only been using provera as needed when I do not menstruate due to risk of hemorrhage. I feel at this point I am on a good path!!!! I feel with supplements and diet I can manage my pcos and if we happen to get pregnant so be it and that will be amazing but if we don't I am ok with it. I have heard tons of success stories on metformin and clomid. My coworker struggled for years with pcos and just recently had her son she did 3 rounds of clomid and an IUI. She didn't experience many side effects from medication either! My advice is always get second opinions before making a choice of treatment!!!
Good luck!!! :)
