Twin PNP vs. Regular PNP

I want to put a Pack N Play on my first floor for the twins. DD #1 never really used the PNP to sleep. She always took naps on the swing when she was really little. We used the changing table part all the time to avoid running up the stairs. Unfortunately our PNP from DD broke so we are going to have to get another one. I like the idea of the twin one because of the infant sleepers....but it doesn't have a changing table. What are your opinions. Am I better off just getting the regular one? Or is the twin one more of an essential?

I say the regular one. The changing part was necessary for us because we didn't want to go upstairs every time to change a diaper.
Our girls most of the time fell asleep in the swings as well, but occasionally we did put them in the pack n play. The regular one worked out fine.

Re: Twin PNP vs. Regular PNP

I have the twin. They slept in the bassinet part for three months when we transitioned to the cribs. We never used the changing table part. It killed everyone's back to change them in the PNP so we actually bought a second changing table for the den which we still use. The PNP is now basically a toy box.

regular one. When they were first born they napped in it together, side by side. Chat Icon Now we mainly use it for a changing table on the first floor. We occasionally let one of them nap in there, but I prefer to have them nap in their cribs.

Re: Twin PNP vs. Regular PNP

I'm on the fence too. I have the normal PNP that DD slept in for the first 5 months because we were moving and didn't have a crib yet. Now I keep that downstairs and I figure I will buy a Twin PNP for our room for the twins to sleep in for the first 3 months before we put them in their cribs.

Regular one.

I used my sisters. mainly for the changing table and in the beginning they both were able to sleep in there.

I still occassionally get them both in there just to chill and it works out fine.

We have the twin one and it worked great. That is where they slept for the first few months. Changing tables are sp cheap u can always get one at target for the den.
