Two COMPLETELY unrelated questions...One for the newborn and one related to the spicy toddler...
1) When/If your NEWBORN gives back everything you just fed them and you know they arent sick (bad burping/drank too much at once), how long do you wait to re-feed them what they brought back up. It happened immediately after Jeremy stopped eating and he is/was not under any distress - no crying, nothing. It barely had a chance to settle - didn't cheese-ify so to speak. He is quite content actually as I look at him.
and
2) If your TODDLER takes a dry erase marker to the chalkboard on the easel you just bought them, how do you get the marker out or are you SOOL?
Thanks all!

SOOL = S%it out of luck
I know nothing about #1 but I would try a Mr. Clean magic eraser or Goo Gone...maybe even Oxy Clean spray?

1. At their next feeding, or if it was ALL of the food they just ate, when they show signs of hunger. You can just keep randomly keep offering the bottle.
2. I googled this:
Rubbing alcohol will take it out. Moisten - not dampen - a cloth and rub in circles. Repeat with a water soaked cloth to rinse. You may need to do it a few times, but it will work. And FYI - if you ever get permanent marker on the dry erase side, write over the perm w/ a dry erase pen and erase it. Clean w/ alcohol to remove any residue & dry.

Thank you! I will go home and fix DD's chalkboard!

He shows ZERO signs of hunger.
Then just wait for his next feeding. He was probably overfill, and that is why some came up.
eta go feed your kid!!! UGH, I can't believe you are starving him!!

My DS was what my Ped referred to as a "happy spitter". He'd siimply over-eat and spit up a lot after each boob/bottle. He was never in distress, never fussy, it just came out. Sometimes with a smile on his face.
In his case, I didn't offer up more food sooner. He let me know when he was hungry again - which as a BF newborn was every 2 hours.

Re: Two COMPLETELY unrelated questions...One for the newborn and one related to the spicy toddler...
1.) My DS would do that sometimes if he had gas. Threw up what seemed like the whole bottle and let out a huge burp but then was perfectly happy. The first time freaked me out, but after that, if he seemed like he was still hungry, I fed him and he was fine. If he doesn't seem hungry, feed him again in an hour or two.
2.) I swear by the Magic Eraser, but I wonder if it would take some of the finish off the chalkboard. I would try the alcohol trick first.
