Ugh, please tell me this is a phase!

DD is nine months and is teething pretty bad. As a result, she's pretty much refusing ALL meals Chat Icon It is making feeding time torture for DH and me. She is still on stage 2 foods, and I'm slowly introducing stage 3, but she's still not crazy about the thicker consistency. She eats yogurt melts, and I recently introduced cheese - anything harder, she doesn't seem ready for.
Well, it is a fight to get her to eat her oatmeal with fruit in the morning (she normally loves this) and the same goes for the rest of the meals. HOWEVER, when she sees that yogurt container, she goes CRAZY and will open her mouth WIDE OPEN!! So yes, she is probably uncomfortable from the teething (understandably so), but if she was THAT uncomfortable, she wouldn't take the yogurt either - right? She's okay with her bottles, so fortunately, she's still getting something. However, my normally good eater is not eating well at all. She can't have yogurt at EVERY meal!! Any advice?

I wonder Chat Icon could it be that the cold yogurt soothes her gums???? Can you try chilling her fruit and see if that helps???? Have you tried the Hyland's tablets, everyone raves about those (we didn't use them, ds was an easy teether, but i see a lot of raves on here about them)!

Well, she's ALWAYS loved yogurt - even before this "phase" - but perhaps that it's cold helps now, too! Good idea! I'll try chilling her other food tomorrow and see if it helps - but I'm not holding my breath!
I've tried the tablets and they didn't do anything for her Chat Icon
